Program Name and Description:
Cobb Tennis Community SMS Program provides users with notifications related to tennis and pickleball lessons, cancellations, promotional offers, and other service updates. By opting in, you agree to receive periodic text messages from Cobb Tennis Community.

Opt-In and Opt-Out:
Users can opt-in by texting “START” or “SUBSCRIBE” or by providing their phone number through our platform. To opt-out, text “STOP” to our designated short code. A confirmation message will follow. Users can rejoin anytime by signing up again.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer:
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

1. Services Provided

Cobb Tennis Community offers tennis and pickleball lessons, including group classes, private lessons, and other events at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center. All sign-ups must be completed via our Website.

You agree that CTC may use photos or video of lessons for promotional or educational purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

2. Account Creation

You agree to provide accurate information, including your name, date of birth, email, phone number, and a photo. If any information is untrue or incomplete, we may cancel your account or order.

3. Payment Terms

Payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Amazon Pay, Cash App Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely via Link.

4. Acknowledgment of Risk

Participation involves inherent physical risk. You accept and assume all risks, and release Cobb Tennis Community, its staff, affiliates, and facility partners from liability for any injury, illness, property damage, or financial loss.

This release also applies to emergency medical care provided in good faith. Parents/guardians accept these terms on behalf of minors.

Unsupervised Play and Limited Supervision

Some activities offered by Cobb Tennis Community, including but not limited to matchplay sessions, makeup classes, and open-play events, may occur with limited or no direct supervision by a coach or staff member. During these times, participants are responsible for their own safety and conduct.

By participating in such activities, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or losses that may occur in the absence of direct supervision. You agree that Cobb Tennis Community, its staff, coaches, or affiliates are not liable for incidents or injuries arising during these unsupervised or semi-supervised sessions.

5. Lesson and Class Cancellations

Rain cancellations will be communicated via SMS and email. Make-ups are only offered for rainouts. If you miss a class for personal reasons, no credit, refund, or additional make-up is provided. A rained-out make-up will be rescheduled for the same day/time the following week.

6. Rainout & Make-up Details by Program

Adult Squad
Regular: Mon/Wed.
Make-up: Friday 7:00–8:30 PM.

Junior Squad
Regular: Tues/Thurs.
Make-up: Friday 6:00–7:30 PM.

Pickleball Squad
Regular: Friday.
Monday 7:30–8:00 PM: Match play (no coach)

Monday 8:00–9:00 PM: Coached session

Level 1 & 2 Classes
Held in 5–6 week terms with one week break reserved for rain make-ups. No refund or credit if the break week cannot be attended.

7. Availability and Payment Responsibility

Credits are issued only if you’re already scheduled for a make-up and another rainout causes a conflict. You are responsible for payment based on the classes you selected, regardless of attendance. All payments are non-refundable.

10. Medical Authorization & Emergency Care

By registering, you affirm that you (or your minor child) are fit to participate. You authorize our staff to initiate emergency care if necessary, and assume all associated costs. We will attempt to contact your emergency contact first.

11. Photo & Video Release

You grant us permission to use photos/videos of you or your child for promotional use across digital and print platforms. If you do not consent, notify us in writing. No compensation is provided.

12. Refund & Makeup Policy

All payments are non-refundable, including for missed classes, schedule changes, or participant injury. Make-ups are only for rainouts. No refund/credit is given if you miss a scheduled make-up.

Refunds, if ever granted as an exception, will not include processing fees charged by Stripe or other payment platforms.

13. Payment Policy – No Direct Coach Payments

All payments must go through our Website or approved county booking portals. Do not pay coaches directly for CTC-organized lessons. Doing so violates our policies and may result in removal from our programs.

14. Facility & Match Play Disclaimer

We are not liable for injuries or incidents that occur outside of official programming, including informal or unsupervised court use. Participation outside of scheduled lessons is at your own risk.
